The Future of the Church

“And all that generation also were gathered to their fathers. And there arose another generation after them who did not know the LORD or the work that he had done for Israel.” [Judges 2:10]

Mission DAO is focused on empowering the next generation, who do not need to wait to be future leaders of tomorrow but are already leaders of today. We are gripped by the passage in Judges that spoke of a generation that did not know the LORD, or all His wondrous works, and we seek to engage the next generations in the following ways.

Christians

Digital Missions: We anticipate the next generation of youths living in an AR/VR Metaverse reality. Thus, we want to be present in their space to reach out to those that have not yet believed. This could look like Metaverse experiences, conferences, evangelistic events and more.

Furthermore, each NFT art sale is grounded upon a book of the Bible, which would introduce our buyers to the word of God. This would be one step towards them coming to know God.

Missionaries

Traditional Missions: We aim to mobilise the next generation to missions. We will be creating missions exposure programs where we will send the next generation into the mission field with our mission partners to expose them to mission work, with their allowance and travel paid for by Mission DAO.

Givers

Mission DAO unlocks a new transparent and decentralised way of giving to appeal to the next generation of givers. Encouraging young people to start giving will create within them a heart for missions - for where our treasure is, there our heart also will be. Through our Mission DAO community platform, where givers and missionaries are able to connect with each other, we seek to facilitate the process of one generation commending God’s work to another [Ps 145:4]. The next generation will also get to see how their financial support translates into tangible fruit in the mission field.
