Genesis Mission Giving Fund (MGF)

A portion of the fund (70%) will be channelled to the Genesis Mission Giving Fund (MGF). The MGF will be used exclusively for the purpose of mission giving and will operate like a sub-DAO.

Apart from the Genesis pledged amount, all decisions must be passed through a Genesis DAO holder Vote.

Genesis DAO token holders will govern and manage the Genesis Mission Giving Fund together.

Traditional Missions

We will begin by pledging a portion of our earnings to an initial list of missionaries that have been pre-determined by the Mission DAO team. The list of missionaries that we’ve chosen will be supported on a once-off basis, to meet clearly-defined ministry needs. They can expect to receive the money within 48 hours of us hitting the 25% Mint Milestone.

Missionaries who receive the money will also be required to make their mission reports available to the Mission DAO community for transparency and accountability.

After this initial list of missionaries receive the amount pledged to them, holders of DAO Tokens will host town halls to discuss, propose, and vote on mission spending from the Genesis Mission Giving Fund (MGF) - which requires a supermajority vote. We will also add in more due-diligence processes in the future.

For security reasons, we will keep the identities of the missionaries/ministries in closed-access nations or doing sensitive ministry work hidden, except to the Mission DAO team. All other missionaries will be fully doxxed.

Digital Missions

As the next frontier of human history, the Metaverse is the future of human connectivity. We anticipate an increasing and rapid uptake in Metaverse users, especially amongst the youth. As such, we are keen to be the first to pioneer a Kingdom work in this field.

Advancing the Kingdom of God in the Metaverse can take on many expressions: from buying land and building beautiful Cathedrals to display the glory of God, to organising evangelistic rallies to save souls, or even hosting conferences to equip the saints. There are endless possibilities in this space.

To decide on the specific digital mission strategy, we will host regular Town Halls after our first mint for DAO Token Holders to discuss, propose, and vote on the specific course of action. A research and development team will then be hired to work in this space.
